When the Asignacions came to us in March of 2017, they didn’t need to be convinced to build in the Pacific Northwest. They were already living in Silverdale and raising a family… and running out of space! They needed a bigger home for their growing family.
The Asignacions had a few ideas about the design of the custom home in Silverdale. Because they needed more space, our architect worked with them to design a home that was more than 2,300 square feet. The home includes three bedrooms and three baths. The Asignacions’ specific design requests included a large kitchen, open concept kitchen and living room, a vaulted ceiling in the living area for a greater sense of space and to allow in more natural light, and a bonus room / office located over the garage.
Maximizing every dollar was important without compromising their wish list or their incredible sense of style. Here are a few photos of the finished home as well as features that make this home something special.
The bright, open kitchen beautifully blends a modern aesthetic with classic style. Features include stainless steel appliances that provide a sharp contrast to the white countertops and blue cabinetry, classic subway tile and a farmhouse sink.
The kitchen includes a large island that’s ideal for large gatherings or quick breakfasts. In addition to multiple windows that look out over the natural views the kitchen also includes a French door with direct access to the back deck – perfect for grilling or indoor/outdoor entertaining.
The master suite includes an oversized shower, modern soaking tub and classic black and white tile. The sliding barn door adds to the modern classic look.
