When it’s time to come back down to earth, we’ll help with that, too. But don’t worry, everything on this list will hit within our custom home specialty of $175 to $200 per square foot. So, if you’re looking for luxury home design ideas, you’ve come to the right place. One of our favorite places to peruse and compile home design inspiration is Houzz. We’ve compiled some of our favorite luxury custom home design trends from around the world to get your dreaming started.

A Boutique-Style Closet

A master suite is not a suite without a luxuriously appointed closet. That’s right– a closet. Move over bath. Almost every woman (and a growing number of men) crave an organized room to store their clothes, shoes,  and other accessories.

A Deluxe Walk-Through Shower

Make room for two in an oversized walk-through shower. We love the idea of adding a combination of water sources, including a rain or waterfall shower for relaxation and an invigorating body jets to rejuvenate you.

An Outdoor Living Room

Here in the Pacific Northwest, there’s plenty of reasons to spend all day every day outdoors, especially in the warmer months. Transform an outdoor space into a second living room. Include any or all of the following:
  • Add a fireplace when the weather gets chilly.
  • Build a gourmet outdoor kitchen for al fresco entertaining.
  • Include a television behind a glass for easy viewing outdoors.

Floor to Ceiling Windows

Here’s a little inspiration straight from yours truly. Another way to let the outdoors in? Invest in floor to ceiling windows so that you’ll never miss a sunset. Call us biased, but there’s no painting quite as stunning as the Pacific Northwest.

His and Her Bathrooms

You’ve heard of his and her closets (which we definitely recommend) and maybe even his and hers sinks, but what about his and her bathrooms? The king and queen of your castle can retreat to private bath areas to recharge.  Here’s one of our favorite bathrooms from our Estes happy families, imagine having two of these sanctuaries… the possibilities are endless.
