VAULTED CEILINGS, VIEWS FROM EVERY ROOM

Searching for the perfect plans for their retirement dream, these clients soon realized just how much work and energy would be involved to manage the construction of a custom home by themselves. What about a garage? What about site development? What about permits? Would these plans fit right on their property?

We quickly assigned a design consultant and an architect to help them identify what it was they loved about the plans they had selected. Then we spent time with them on their waterfront property to brainstorm how to incorporate their vision in the best possible way for their unique property (and their budget). The resulting home is their dream come true with a pantry that fits two wine fridges, a large deck that overlooks a bocce ball court and the Hood Canal, a spacious master bath with custom cabinetry and a walk-in closet, and a sweet suite for Mom. And just about every room in the house has a view of the water.

Having retired from a high-end department store chain, the client knew what materials, finishes, and fixtures she wanted and did not want to compromise. To help her stay on track for their target budget, the design team worked with her on the pieces she sourced directly to reflect the total budget in updates throughout the process and offer alternate options on items that were truly budget busters. But don’t take our word for it, hear from the clients themselves.
