Sequim, WA: Kevin Estes Homes is nearing completion on the final three homes in Sunland North, the last phase of Sequim’s largest residential community. Multi-phase construction on Sunland North began 20 years ago; once finished, the neighborhood will comprise 139 homes. Sunland North is part of the larger community of Sunland, which spans a swath of land between Highway 101 and the Dungeness Spit. It includes more than 900 homes along with amenities including a golf course, beach access, tennis courts, pickleball, a pool, and walking trails. The final homes in Sunland North are luxury townhomes, with condo-style ownership and exterior care managed by an outside entity. The homes range in size from 1600 to 1900 square feet and feature elegant, functional floorplans, three-season porches, skylights, and 33 acres of open space.

“The three remaining houses in Sunland North offer a unique opportunity for buyers in Sequim—the houses are the only new construction in an active living area, and the greater Sunland community’s amenities can’t be found anywhere else nearby. That combination offers luxury living plus a lock-and-leave lifestyle perfect for retirees and snowbirds,” said Kevin Estes, owner and CEO of Kevin Estes Homes and Estes Builders.

“Sunland dates back to the 1960s, and while each phase of homes demonstrates the ever-changing shift in architectural styles and preferences, the sense of community only continues to grow. We’re honored to make up a small part of that legacy,” Estes said. “As a custom builder, the for-sale homes we’ve built in Sunland North are a small departure from our typical work, but have been integral in sustaining our business over the years as well as important to our contribution to our hometown as we have expanded in geographic scope. We’re thrilled to see the completion of two decades of work.”
